ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Andrew Hatcher was born in Paris, France, in 1964, and grew up in rural Surrey. After studying in Norwich, Oxford and York, he has spent the last few decades teaching history in the Middle East. The Greatest Leap is his first book.

Andrew has lived and worked in Dubai since 1992. Before that, he worked in Surrey and Oxfordshire. He studied at the Universities of East Anglia, Oxford and York. Andrew is currently working on a history of Britain since 1066.
